Hace unos días que se nos acabaron las vacaciones, que dura es la vuelta!!!
Ahora toca trabajar a ver si ahorramos un poco para poder viajar mas!
Este año nos hemos ido a la Riviera Maya, han sido unos días preciosos en playas espectaculares, rodeados de naturaleza con sus manglares, cenotes, animales sueltos en su propio hábitat...tampoco nos hemos perdido las ruinas mayas, los corales, los peces de colores... Y el sabor de boca final ha sido volver a México, pero a visitar pueblitos y ciudades coloniales.
Pero a pesar de lo mucho que nos han impresionado los paisajes yo me he venido cargadísima de inspiración, y es que me he dado cuenta de que muchas de las cosas que hacemos están muy influenciadas por la artesanía de Centroamérica.
Lo que mas me ha alucinado es los colores. Aquí en España si recordamos a nuestras abuelas es con tonos apagados, casi de negro...y allí las mujeres da igual la edad que tengan que llevan puestas auténticas obras de arte llenas de colores, es algo que todavía no deja de sorprenderme.
Quiero viajar mucho, y perderme por pueblos recónditos y que estas señoras me enseñen todo lo que saben!!!

A few days ago we come from our holidays, the back is being so hard!
Now we have to work to save a bit money for traveling again!
This year we have gone to the Riviera Maya, we spent nice days on breathtaking beaches, surrounded by nature with its mangroves, cenotes, animals on their own habitat ... we have not lost Mayan ruins, coral, fish color ... And the last taste is to come back to Mexico, but to visit small villages and colonial cities.
But despite how much we have been impressed by the landscapes I have come full of inspiration, and I've noticed that many of the things we do are greatly influenced by the craftsmanship of Central America.
What most amazed me is the colors. Here in Spain we remember our grandmothers dressed with muted tones, almost in black... and in México does not matter how old they are they are wearing authentic works of colorful art, is something that still surprises me.
I really would like to travel a lot, and getting lost in remote villages and these ladies teaching me everything they know!
No se si os pasa a vosotr@s, que cuando veis mucha cosa junta no sabéis que comprar... A mi siempre me pasa, me agobio, no sé qué elegir, y mira que vi miles de cosas pero solo me he traído la blusita que veis arriba y el huipil.
La blusita se la compré a la señora de las fotos de arriba, que mujer! tenía autenticas maravillas, le dije todo lo que me maravillaba su trabajo, la mujer casi ni me entendía porque su lengua era el Maya, pero si que me dijo que era como se ganaba la vida.
El huipil lo encontré entre el montón que podéis ver también en las primeras fotos. No era el que mas me gustaba, había auténticas obras de arte que ahora me arrepiento de no haberme traído. Elegí ese porque estaba mas o menos bien conservado y era mi talla, y me entraba por la cabeza! La mayoría ni me entraban...
Todos eran huipiles antiguos, hechos en telar y con motivos bordados a mano, auténticas piezas vintage de un montón de años y con un colorido que parece increíble.
Me quedé con esta palabra y al venir he buscado información (lo que ha hecho arrepentirme mas de no haber comprado alguno mas..).

El huipil está lleno de simbolismos, cuyos bordados en colores vivos y adornos de listones y encaje dan cuenta de su cosmovisión, son piezas unicas e irrepetibles que reflejan el origen del mundo, la vida y la muerte.
Por mucho tiempo se pensó que dichas artesanas eran poseedoras de un don divino, capaz de imprimir su cosmovisión en cada uno de sus bordados, y se creía que las mujeres que portaban el huipil se apoderaban de la identidad de la realizadora.

Not sure if it happens to you,but when we see a lot of things we like together we don't know what to buy ... It always happens to me, I do not know what to choose, and despite I saw a thousand of things, I only bougth the blouse you see above and the huipil.
I bought the blouse to the lady in the photo above, incredible woman! She had authentic wonders, I said her everything I marveled all her work, the woman hardly understood me because their language was the Maya, but she told me that it has been her work during all her life.
I found the huipil in the pile that you can also see the first pictures. It was not the one I liked best, but I chose that because it was more or less well preserved and it was my size, and I went through your head! Most never came to me ... :(
They were all old huipiles, made in weaving and with hand embroidery motif, authentic vintage pieces from several years ago and with a color that looks amazing.
I have searched for information about the huipiles (which has done more than regret not buying any more ..).

The huipil is full of symbolism, whose embroidered in bright colors and ribbons and lace trim realize their worldview, they are unique pieces that reflect the origin of the world, life and death.
