La nueva colección de La Casita de Wendy está inspirada en mujeres como Lizzie Siddal, Georgie Macdonald, Effie Gray, Jane Morris o Julia Prinsep (la madre de Virginia Woolf), mujeres del s.XIX que eran modelos, pintoras, escritoras, actrices y artistas...y que fueron musas de la Hermandad Pre-Rafaelita.

Fueron mujeres diferentes, con personalidad, que no siguieron los cánones que dictaba su época, bohemias, y muy creativas (Podéis ver mucho más sobre el tema de inspiración AQUI).

Aquí os mostramos parte de nuestra pequeña aportación a esta gran colección, las fotos son de Elena Grimaldi y nos tienen maravilladas, parecen cuadros de la época Rafaelita, preciosas!

Los estampados de Ana Sender y Pablo Padilla son más que preciosos, las prendas de punto XXL, las prendas de patchwork, la bufanda teñida con índigo natural por Mundo Lanar ...

La verdad es que es un honor poder trabajar rodeadas de tanto arte y creatividad y aportar nuestro granito de arena en una colección tan preciosa!

 New La Casita de Wendy's collection is inspired on XIX century women such as Lizzie Siddal, Georgie Macdonald, Effie Gray, Jane Morris or Julia Prinsep (the mother of well-known Virginia Woolf). They were models, writers, painters, actresses,... and they also played a rol as muses of the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood.

They were different women, with personality, which did not follow the behaviour that was dictating their epoch, Bohemian, and very creative (you Can see much more on the topic of inspiration HERE).

We show you part of our little collaboration of these great collection.

 The pictures are from Elena Grimaldi  and are really marvelous, they look like pre-Raphaelite paintings, wonderful!

The prints by  Ana Sender and Pablo Padilla are really beautiful, the XXL hand knitted clothes, the patchwork clothes, the great scarf  dyed in natural Indigo by Mundo Lanar...

The truth is that it is really an honor to be able to work surrounded with so much art and creativity and to contribute in such a marvelous  collection!

Tras unos meses rodeadas de animales ya pronto nos abandonarán e irán rumbo a sus destinos. Ha sido precioso ir viendo como crecía la familia y si, ahora da bastante pena despedirse de ellos.

Como se merecían ir bien empaquetados pedimos ayuda a vireta, y nos encanta el resultado de sus animales jugando con agujas, lanas e hilos. Cada uno llevará su etiqueta contando su historia, queremos que quien lo adopte sepa que hay muy pocos iguales en el mundo (raza única hecha a mano, claro), y que lo cuide mucho! Gracias Vir! Sin tu ayuda no hubiera quedado tan bonito!

Una vez mas les damos las gracias a Inés e Iván por haber contado con nosotras para su Zoologie, nos lo hemos pasado realmente bien!

After a few months surrounded of animals, they leave us soon and go towards their destinations. It was lovely to see how the family grew up, and yes, now we have a pain to say goodbye to them.

As we deserved them to be well packaged, we asked vireta's help, and we really love the result of her animals playing with needles, wool and yarns. Each one will carry her label telling its story, we wanted that the person that adopts them could know that there are very few equals in the world (handmade unique race, of course), and take care of them with much love! Thank you Vir! Without your help they would't be as nice as they are!

Once again, we say thanks to Inés and Iván to have us for their Zoologie collection , we really enjoyed!
